Why personal matters

Your body isn't a 28-day average.

Most wellness advice is written for an imagined average woman: the same cycle, the same appetite, the same energy every Monday morning. Real life doesn't work that way. In one large study of more than 600,000 cycles logged in a cycle-tracking app, only about 13% were exactly 28 days long. Sleep, stress, travel, exams and work deadlines all leave their mark, too.

Niara starts from your patterns instead of a template. Over time, it's designed to help you notice how your cycle, mood, energy, food and rest connect for you, and to offer suggestions you can actually use on an ordinary Tuesday. It won't hand you a rulebook.

How it's designed to work

Starts simple. Gets more personal as you go.

  1. Tell Niara a little

Share only what you're comfortable with: goals, preferences and, if you choose, your cycle.

  2. Check in, briefly

A few taps for mood and energy, a photo of a meal, or a quick note. Skip any day you like.

  3. Notice your patterns

Over a few cycles, Niara is designed to reflect back patterns that are uniquely yours.

  4. Get gentle guidance

Food ideas, movement suggestions and reflection prompts that fit where you are.

More than a period tracker

A companion, not a calculator.

Trackers log and predict. Niara is being built to understand context: your cycle is one important signal, not the whole story. It speaks to you the way a well-informed friend would.

  • Connected: cycle, mood, food, movement and rest in one place.
  • Kind by design: no streaks, no guilt, no alarming red badges.
  • Honest: predictions are shown as estimates, never as certainties.
Many apps say

“Your period is 4 days LATE.”

Niara would say

“Your cycle is running a little longer this month. That's common, and stress, sleep and travel can all play a part. Want to look at it together?”

Who it's for

Made for women who want to understand themselves, not optimise themselves.

Curious about your cycle

You want to know why some weeks feel effortless and others feel heavy, and what you can do with that knowledge.

Busy, with little headspace

Students, professionals and caregivers who want useful guidance in a minute or two a day, not another app to manage.

Tired of one-size-fits-all

You've tried generic diet plans and workout programmes, and you want something that adapts to your life and to food you actually eat.

Privacy & responsible wellness

Your data should never make you feel watched.

Cycle, mood and food data are personal. We're building Niara around that fact from the first line of code, and we'll publish full details of how the app handles data before it launches.

  • We will never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers.
  • You stay in control. Share only what you choose, and you'll be able to delete it.
  • Wellness, not medicine. Niara offers information and support, not diagnosis or treatment, and will point you to a doctor when something needs one.
  • Estimates are labelled as estimates. Cycle predictions and food-photo nutrition are approximate, and we say so.
Questions

Questions, answered gently

What is Niara?

Niara is an AI-powered women's wellness companion. It's designed to bring your menstrual cycle, mood, energy, nutrition, movement and rest into one place, and to turn them into personalised, everyday guidance.

Is Niara available now?

Not yet. Niara is in development and the waitlist is open. A launch date hasn't been announced. Waitlist members will hear first.

How is Niara different from a period tracker?

A tracker logs dates and predicts the next period. Niara is being built to connect your cycle with mood, food, movement and rest, and to explain what your patterns might mean for you in warm, plain language.

Is Niara a medical app?

No. Niara provides wellness information and support. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it isn't a form of contraception. For medical concerns, please speak with a qualified doctor.

Will it be on Android and iPhone?

We're building for both. Waitlist members will hear as soon as each version is ready.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

We'll save your first name (optional) and email address, and write to you about Niara's launch and early access. Every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
